I ordered this based on an online ad. I had a senior cat who really disliked carriers and she was sick so I ordered it as a potentially less stressful way to take her to the vet. It was a huge hit. She was very calm instead of stressed and anxious. I won't go back to carriers ever again. Also it helps me cut my cats nail and give her medicines. She doesn't mind being in the bag.

My cat will not go near the travel crate. He cries and then gets sick right away. My vet suggested the bag and I bought it. As soon as i put him in the bag he became the most docile cat. He has no problem when i pick him up and carry him around. And as a bonus, I use it to cut his nails.

This is the most amazing product! I havent been able to take my cats to the vet in years...fights trying to get into a carrier, crying, hyperventilating, peeing in the car...but I have used the cat bag on all 3 of my babies and it works perfectly!!! No fights, low stress, safe travel in the car. I LOVE this product!!!

My cats wont ride in a crate without protesting noisily the entire way. But they rode happy over 2000 miles cross country in their kitty sacks.

Bought for my mom so she could take her cat to the vet easily and helps when trimming nails.
Toni
I used it on both my cats. I was able to trim nails on all four paws (both cats) with few issues, in contrast to previously using a mesh bag and having them quite panicky because they were secured so tightly. I am thinking of using it to transport them to the vet and see if they can get their shots without being sedated. This is a great product!!

I can’t praise this product enough. We have three cats who we have to medicate every day, and before we got the cat-in-the-bag, it was a desperate struggle that the cats hated and that we dreaded. Now, with the bag, it is not traumatic for them (or us!). I highly recommend this product.

Our cats didn't love it at first, but they would just climb into it on their own sometimes and fell in love with it at one point. AT least as a blanket. But I love how it is a safe but comfortable way of traveling for your happy cats!

My cat has a heart condition, so the process of trying to get him into a cat carrier scared me because I hated making his heart race. I can easily get him into this bag and although he’s not too fond of it, it makes getting him to the vet nice and easy, and his vet gets a kick out of it.

My cat doesnt really like it, but it works really well for carrying her, so im happy. The product seems sturdy

My kitty tolerated car travel much better in this than his hard sided carrier.

This works so great when you going to take your cat to the vet even my vet thought it was wonderful

I was skeptical, like many others. I can assure you: I have two 'normal' cats, I did NOT get this item in return for feedback, and received NO special anything for this review. (I worried about that when I read the other reviews.) Anyway, this bag is magical, I think! The cats fought over who got to sit/sleep on it straight out of the package, and they don't mind being zipped up in it at all! I used it 2 days ago to cut their nails - first time I was able to cut them by myself! There are two Velcro slots at the front on each side for their paws to come out. This morning, I used the bag to apply medicine to their ears by myself... super easy! It's made of a heavy-weight type fabric that keeps their feet secure so they don't run away, and protects you from their sharp nails. No, it doesn't protect you from biting, but I don't know of anything reasonable that does. But for normal cats, who just don't like to be 'fiddled' with, this bag is a god-send. I highly recommend it!

We've used it for two of our three cats ... PAIN FREE nail clipping! I recommend it highly.

Best trip to the vet for shots we've ever had! Our cat stayed calm and secure

Es un poco grande y si no se ajusta bien el cuello es fácil que el gato saque las patas.

Our cat was very comfortable in the cat carrier, and it made trimming his nails so much easier!

I love this carrier! It is so much easier to carry than the hard crate kind, and my cats seem to be a little more relaxed in them. True they can't move around quite as much as in a crate, but this carrier allows me to actually hold and pet them, and I think that helps.
Madison
My cat honestly does not like this bag at all, and will fight me a little bit when I'm putting her in it. It hasn't helped her motion sickness, but it has helped me IMMENSELY in keeping her clean if she vomits. With regular carriers and letting her free-roam in the car on trips, she made a lot of messes. Thanks to this bag, I can keep her in one place and put a towel down in front of her and have a relatively smooth trip.

Soft material, nice color

Easier to get cat in this carrier than hard carrier. Cats disliked the inability to walk around while zipped up. Does it’s job.

I just drove 2750 miles cross country and my cats were in their bags the whole way. They were safe, and comfortable for the most part. The only downside we had was one of the cats got warm with the bag, but I solved that by unzipping just the bottom to create a vent. They got plenty of looks when I took them into rest stop bathrooms, and the bags ensured that they were going to stay put.

Easy to use. For my cat Yuuki

My cat has very long legs, so getting him into it was not the easiest. But once he was in, it worked great!

Love this product. Helps me cut my cats nail and give her medicines easily. She doesn't mind being in the bag.

Well made. Great idea But my kitty does not share my enthusiasm. Lol! She slapped my hand away after I took her out and wouldn't speak to me for an hour.

I have only used the carrier once to give my cat medicine. It was great for me. The cat was not so thrilled. It was easy to put on and prevented my getting scratched. I would recommend this product.

We have 2 cats an 8 year old Maine Coon female (about 10 pounds) And a 6 year old Snowshoe male (about 6 pounds) Both hate to travel and go crazy in a carrier. They scream, and thrash against the sides of a carrier the entire way! It was such a terrible experience that the next time one of them had to go to the vet we had a mobile vet come to the house instead. When the vet came in to get her to take out to his mobile office he had one of these bags, our Maine Coon went in easily and didn't struggle at all. We just bought a new house and knew we were going to have to transport the cats when we moved so I bought 2 of these. I got the large because I figured even though neither of my cats would really require this size that it would be a little easier to get them in it if there was more room. And since the opening for the head can be adjusted to their kneck size this would be the best option. We were able to get them into the bags easily even though they were already nervous from the movers being in and out of the house all day. After we got both cats in the bags my husband carried them down to the car, and put them in my lap. They seemed pretty comfortable in the bags, and were ok until the car started moving of course but I was able to pet them and talk to them, so they calmed down. They started to struggle a little when we got stuck in traffic, and the smaller cat managed to get a paw out through the kneck hole, but he couldn't escape. They eventually calmed down to just some meowing. And we got them to the new house pretty easily. The little one did pee in the bag, but it didn't leak. I would recommend these to anyone who needs to transport a cat. I do recommend getting the correct size for your cat because it will make the adjustment for the kneck better, and they won't be able to get a paw up through it. But I think the fact that they are snuggled up in the bag, and their head and face is totally free, they don't get as upset as being totally enclosed in a carrier.
Leila
I love it! Best money I have spent and worth every penny! I have a 6.5 Russian blue rescue who hates anyone touching his paws and he got perfect in this and the cat muzzle covered only his eyes so he would still breath. I took out each leg at a time and got all his nails done within 10 minutes.
Summer G
I use this to transport my cat to the vet. She doesn't look happy (lol) but she is calm and quiet and happily sitting unrestrained in the cat bag. I think it's a great carrier.
J. Carol Seeley
This bag is made so that you can carry your cat into the vet in your arms! It is not made to carry by the handle! My cat was so calm in my arms the whole time, I was amazed! I had 2 different employees run up to me with a carrier during the vaccination clinic. I had to show them the bag. The vet loved it and said she would use it for her. cat. One piece of advice for the company, put your name on the bag for advertising, people were asking the name and I didn’t remember.

I ordered the cat bag (cat in a bag) to transport by big cat of 16 1/2 pounds to the vets, he gets stressed and his claws come out, I ordered the Xlarge but I should've gotten the large, he has a lot of room in the bag, but it is good material and I think it will work for me...the opening area for the head has Velcro but I think it will work...maybe later I will order another one in the large size...package arrived earlier than expected...thank you..
Troasaurus Rex
I can't even express how much better this was for my cat vs her rigid carrier. I was expecting maybe a little less grumpy making, but it's still a cat carrier to take her to the vet, right? Holy crap. She was a little unhappy with me putting her into it the first couple times, but the drive (it buckles into the seat belt!) and at the vet? Seriously. She was so chill. It's unheard of. It just wasn't a terrible experience for her and that's amazing. I am amazed.
Carene
No fuss no muss. The went into the bag and became cakm as kittens
Kemosabe
Both my cats are under 10lbs but not by much, so I bought the large bag. The cats fit in the bag but were able to get one paw out of the bag. I kept trying to adjust the velcro on the neck but each still managed to get one paw out. I figure I will add more velcro to the neck portion and that will help alot. One of our cats puts up quite a fight, with hind legs flailing, so I can say that the bag protected my arms. That said, it does what I wanted. It's like a kitty straight jacket.

I have one cat who hates his plastic carrier - loses his mind when he has to go in it. The cozy comfort carrier is perfect for him - easy to get him into - and he stays calm when I carry him. Easy to clean too!

The vet and vet techs were not quite sure what to think about in my area they had not seen one before. Some thought it was a great product. I have to use this 2 times a day to help my cat during his recovery to administer meds. Its quick and easy less than a 3 minute process to get him in it once he is done making a game out of it :).
Anita Loos
This thing actually works! I used it to take a shelter cat (I volunteer at a no-kill shelter) to have his teeth inspected. This is not a cat that likes travel, but he rode very nicely on the passenger car seat in the bag and in the vet's office he was calm in the face of a strange place, dogs, other cats, and the vet. The vet was able to give him an injection by simply unzipping the back of the bag, no worries about getting clawed.
Ruth
Both of my girls are totally jerks when it comes to carriers, so imagine my horror in having to have them in the car again for 20 hours. The first timeIf you didn’t better one would believe I was harming them. I got these for the second trip thinking there is no way it could be any worse than the 1st trip. They had a rough 1st hour and were pretty scared, but after that it was smooth sailing. I didn’t even hear a peep from them the entire trip! Even when we got back to our old home they weren’t freaked out. Truly a great product!!!

I have 2 indoor cats. 1 is so terrified she tore through an (airline approved) duffle bag type carry, on the 5 minute trip to the vet.Moving to Florida meant a 5 hour flight with them as passengers. I was very stressed about it.I bought 2 of these bags and brought them for car rides and the difference was amazing. She was calm for every ride and she was great though the flight. No worries that she would escape and be lost. I would definitely recommend this for pet traveling!
Roberta
Less stress on the cat for travel to vet office.

My 2 cats have always arrived at the vets very frazzled, not to mention the trip itself has them crying nonstop until we arrive. Thankfully, the vet's office cleans up the crate for us to return home in. Since receiving our new Cat-in-the-bag Cozy Comfort Carrier I have been working on getting them used to this new carrier and I think the idea is a good one but wanted to let prospective buyers know if you have a pet that has anti-carrier tendencies, the Cat-in-the-bag carrier may or may not solve your problem. I gave it 4 stars because I was able to secure my one cat (see pic) without a whole lot of trauma but we haven't gone anywhere yet so the jury is still out. Sadly, the other cat is happy to lay on top of it but that's about it.
Morgan Rigsbee
We used this to move halfway across the country with our cat on a 5-day drive. She did wonderful! She was comfortable and calm!

I have a mature cat who HATES the cat carrier. A 5-minute trip to or from the vet would entail continual yowling and poop and/or vomit – every time. Since we were moving to a new town 3 hours away, I thought it was worth giving this a try. I didn't get the extra supplies for accidents, and I'm delighted to report I didn't need them! My cat is easy to handle, so putting the carrier on was easy. Now this cat turns into jelly whenever he gets a harness/leash or clothing put on, so he similarly turned into a spineless lump once the carrier was zipped up. The handle made me feel secure carrying him to the car, and I settled him in the passenger seat with seatbelt through the carry loop. During the drive, he did do some soft meowing, but with him right beside me int eh front and his head out, I could easily scratch his head, which would quiet him down. After a few hours he moved around a bit and got himself into a more comfortable position inside the bag. For the last hour of the drive he was actually napping, with his head resting on my hand! Absolutely worth the purchase price!

My cat, Jezebel, doesn't like going to the vet. I don't mean that she isn't happy but that she tries to ripe the vets face off even though I give her medicine that is supposed to calm her down before we even leave for the vet. This bag is the greatest thing ever! She can't claw through it and the zipper allows the veterinarian to pull it down just enough to give her the two shots she needs every year. My vet was so impressed with how well it worked he said he was going to order his own.
Lisa Harris
This carrier is absolutely amazing. Traveling with my cat was nearing impossible. After having to find her and shove her into a pillowcase, I’d then have to try to dump her into her carrier. Once that 30 minute ordeal was over, it was into the car where she’d just about have a psychotic break as she yakked in her carrier, out of her carrier, around her carrier.Today we had an appointment for grooming. Getting her into the cat-in-the-bag was relatively easy. She cried a little when she realized we were heading to the car. But, she did really well. She meowed a little but quickly quieted down. She was nervous, but she wasn’t a basket case. The ride home was even better. She didn’t make a peep. She purred and napped all the way home.I wish I tried this product sooner. I no longer dread traveling with my kitty. Yay! Thank you cat-in-the-bag cozy comfort carrier.

This cat carrier has met all the requirements I expected. It's a little heavier fabric than I thought it would be, so I'm thinking if you have the cat in for very long they are going to get hot. I bought the large one for our male cat and I'm thinking I need a smaller one for our females.
Andrew A. Houser
Very skeptical about this item but it worked very well for my cat that is absolute terror to get into a crate and go on car rides. Probably be go to for travel from now on.

LOVE this Cat-in-a-bag!! It work better than expected. I have been grooming this cat for 15 years and she has always hated the grooming process. She bites , scratches and anything else in her power to make me stop (even though she feel better when I’m done) . She tried her hardest to get loose but the Cat-in-a-bag really keep her safely secured while I trimmed nails , cleaned ears , completely shaved and bathed her. Cleanup of the bag is a different story , it’s was petty gross when done but does not take away from the usefulness of this product !!

I have three insanely anxious cats who fight me with traditional cat carriers. I was successful (though it was not easy) in using these to see the vet. The cats were much calmer once secured. They all liked being held in the bag. I didn’t use the carrying handle- none of them liked that.
jlk
Sturdy, keeps cat calmer than a carrier. The same trip to the vet a year ago he cried andpanted the whole way there, then bit the vet. This visit was completely different. He laid down and dozed off in the car...no panting and no crying. At the vet, he was attentive but there was far less hissing. Our vet was able to unzip the back of the bag to give him his shots and could still hear his lungs and heart through the bag. Wow!!! So easy! This cat hates to be touched at all so everything about that trip previously was hard for him. Today he seemed almost comforted by the bag. He even fell asleep on the way home!! I realize success of this product depends on your cat’s personality, but for mine it was amazing and the vet was thrilled and grateful, too!!
Lisa Bell
Very well made, I thought it would be hard to get on my cats head but it worked great. Great for using to clip nails on a cat that still thinks he is wild and impossible to hold when he doesn't want it otherwise. If you are in this situation a eye/face cover for cats works great in conjunction with this. Another cat is a challenge as well and for her the face cover alone does the trick.

This is a game-changer when it comes to giving my cat her pills. She can't kick and scratch me and barely fights with her legs at all. I only have to deal with her mouth now. She does not like to get into it, but it's much easier than getting her into the carrier. She thinks she can escape through the head hole, but it is very easy to tighten the neck strap before she does.
Jen
I was so skeptical about this working, but had no other options. My 14 year old cat will not go in a carrier and she has all her claws, so there is no way to transport her without getting assaulted, or risking her getting hurt. This was so easy to use and she was so much more calm being able to sit in my lap as we transported her to our new house. The liners are helpful if you think your cat will have an accident due to stress, so I recommend getting them. However, be aware that if your cat moves in the carrier a lot, the liner could become useless if they aren't on top of the liner any more.

I got this for my very feisty kitty that I need to give Sub fluids too. I needed to cut a hole in the top to give the SubQ fluids but at least I am able to give the SubQ fluids. I am researching how to immobilize a cat with a binder clip to give SubQ fluids which might be better than this bag, so I'll try to remember to give an update. But for those that struggle with pilling and SubQ this definitively helps. My cat is still unhappy, the bag isn't magic but it is a very useful tool when trying to medicate a cat by yourself.

I was a bit skeptical, but I really wanted to give it a try. He's SO GOOD in the bag! I couldn't believe it! He still meowls when the car is in motion, but he's not drooling or getting sick. Just taking in the sights and getting a little dizzy, haha. This buddy is nearly 14 and handled it like a champ. So proud of my dude. He's 13 pounds and the large size is perfect. He has room if he were to get back to the 19 pounds he was when he adopted us 5 years ago

We moved from Raleigh to Orlando and wanted our princess to be as comfy as possible. We'd previously moved from NY to Raleigh, and that drive with her was horrible. She was in a mesh crate, but totally not happy about it. Cried and cried, panted. Was not a good trip. For this one, we took her in this bag. And it was totally a non issue. I could pet her the whole time. She could see. Mostly she just laid down for the trip. She sat up once to stretch while the car was moving, and again at stops. She meowed exactly two times, and only one meow each time. Total drive time was just shy of 10 hours. We stopped twice (the first time was when there was a flying insect in the car and she wanted to chase it, which...didn't work in the bag...which was good - no running around loose in the car!) and someone stayed in the car with her both times. She much preferred to be driving over the stopped for humans to pee! We offered her food (which she ate) and water (which she ignored), and put her in her litter box before we left (and she went).Getting her in the bag was something we practiced before driving with her. It's doable with one person, but easier with two. We also drove around for 2ish hours twice before doing the long trip. The picture is of her sitting up. I wouldn't want to drive 10 hours with her every day, but she really was much better for this trip than any other we've done. This is definitely how we will be transporting her from now on. We will see how it goes at the vet, since she likes to get back in her crate when we go there. Maybe the bag will help there too!

Much less stressful for travel in the car with my cat.
KG1981
I took three cats from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania and this made it so much easier! They barely made a peep and one of them even fell asleep! In traditional carriers they would scream the entire time. Also, strapping them in really helped me feel they were safe. When we arrived they did have accidents, but understandable. I am fully impressed.

It’s a little hard to get on a resisting cat.

I purchased this comfort carrier to use in my cat while in the car on the way to and from the vet. My 9 year old male who had taken to screaming and pooping in carriers while in the car is now staying mostly quiet, a couple of cries here and there but no pooping! Other factor to include, I sat in the passenger seat holding him in the comfort carrier instead of putting him in the carrier and on the seat by himself. I haven’t tried it yet while driving and having him by himself in the carrier.

I have socialized stray cats I’m taking care of (many of them..) and putting them in carriers when they get sick or injured to go to the vet has been extraordinarily stressful. The cats still don’t exactly enjoy trips to the vet (such sad noises!) but getting them in this carrier is a cinch AND then I can pet them or they can hide their heads if scared. Great product. Well worth the cost.

Our normally travel-averse cat, made a 700 mile trip calmly and without any problems. He had no problem when we put the bag over his head. We did it quickly and held him by the scruff of his neck so he was calm. Our cat slept most of the way in spite of the dog barking periodically.

My vet LOVES this thing. All the vet techs took pictures. I was stoked. My cat was mortified. Easy to get cat in and out. His nails don’t break the fabric. This is seriously a Magic Bag! Seat belt slips right through. Great in the car or off your shoulder.

As to comfort--you'd have to ask my cat!

This bag is a Godsend. My precious angel cat is an absolute NIGHTMARE to give oral medications to. He is also a lemon & has had a lot of health problems. We adopted him 2.5 years ago & had only successfully given him oral meds twice! Izzy has shredded through towels, scratched the crap out of me & my husband, & made our vet bleed. He was diagnosed with Stomatitis & no treatments seemed to help. Our vet recommended a medication that can ONLY be given orally. We decided we were up for the challenge. Enter the Cat-in-the-bag. This bag is AMAZING!!! Izzy has no problems getting in it (though he never has issues with things like that, I can see other cats being difficult). I do still wrap the bag in a blanket for more stability. Izzy has now been getting his oral medication daily & his screams-as-if-he’s-being-murdered are shorter & he sometimes even accepts the meds without issue. Honestly, I cannot recommend this bag enough if you have a precious angel who becomes a demonic hellbeast when its time for oral meds. I am so glad that Facebook is clearly listening to me & the cat-in-the-bag was a targeted ad.Also full disclosure: Izzy no longer has any teeth due to the stomatitis, so I can’t speak for preventing biting.

I have been using the cage like carriers and my cats meow all the way to the vets ( I have 4 so it can be a very noisy ride!) I purchased one about a year ago for my big cat (over 20 pounds). The first time I put it on him, he was quiet all the way to the vets. Quite a difference as he was usually the one who screamed the loudest. It also took 3 of us to get him in the cage-like carrier. Now, I can put it on him by myself. This carrier was my second purchase. Same result! I will be puchasing more (got 2 cats left), but it's already so much calmer in the car.
KH
I purchased this as a last resort after one of my cats developed severe issues with leaving the house. He destroyed a Sherpa soft carrier (my other cat still uses one - this is an issue with my cat, not that carrier), and would go berserk in a hard carrier, attacking the metal door and hurting himself, even with anti-anxiety meds on board. We used the Cat in the Bag for the first time today to go to the vet. I wouldn't say he likes this carrier, and he's definitely not as calm as the cats in the YouTube videos. He struggled periodically, but wasn't able to get out (it's important to get the neck tight enough so that they can't get their front paws out that way), and didn't hurt himself. I'm considering that a victory. Some things to remember:- tighten the neck so that they can't sneak their front paws out -- they will try!- I don't recommend carrying it by the strap; it seems like it puts pressure on the neck hole. I carried him against my chest and put one arm through the smallest strap for security.- Don't leave your cat unattended on a high surface while in this. They may struggle and fall.
Donna39
This is my second bag. My cats are calmer with their heads free. It (size large) fits well for my 11 - 12 lb cats, feet touch the bottom, so no worry of choking at the neckline. It is light and no bulk of hard carriers.
Princess Zyg
My cat will not go near the travel crate. He cries and then gets sick right away. My vet suggested the bag and I was skeptical. But as soon as i put him in the bag he became the most docile cat. He has no problem when i pick him up and carry him around. And as a bonus, I use it to cut his nails.
Wes
Rave reviews from the vet. Work great and the cats didn’t hate them.

Bought for my mom so she could take her cat to the vet easily and helps when trimming nails.
